Our Story
Clara’s Corner began after the loss of Clara Borden, a young woman whose joy, compassion, and ability to make people feel deeply loved left a lasting impact on everyone around her.
Clara was electric, free, funny, deeply loving, and fiercely loyal.
She brought joy wherever she went, turned mundane moments into celebrations, and loved her people loudly, without reservation.
Music, laughter, water, sunshine, dancing in the car, and being close to those she loved meant everything to her.
Clara passed on January 5th, 2026, at the age of 25, just shy of celebrating 2 years sober.
During her recovery journey, Clara became a source of light and encouragement for other young women seeking sobriety and support. She was a true beacon of hope.
Clara lived an incredibly full life for her age, yet she had so much life left to live.
After losing her, those closest to her felt called to create something meaningful in her honor.
Something that could help other women access the care, community, and opportunities for recovery that Clara believed in so deeply.
